The She-Ra Cast of Characters
The Actors
The Good Girls (and Guys)
- Princess Adora/She-Ra: Twin sister to Prince Adam/He-Man,
daughter of King Randor and Queen Marlena of Eternia. Raised nearly from
birth by Hordak and ShadowWeaver. Currently leads the Rebellion against the
Horde and has two love interests: Bow, and Sea Hawk. She is the wielder
of the Sword of Protection, a nifty toy which can (in the show) transform
into various objects like a net, a shield, a rope, a staff, etc.
- Spirit/Swift Wind: Adora/She-Ra's horse. He can talk, and he
turns into the winged unicorn Swift Wind when Adora transforms to She-Ra.
- Bow: Adora's first love interest. Warrior of the Rebellion.
His weapon of choice is the (duh) bow. He rode a horse named Arrow.
- Angella: Queen of Bright Moon. Mother of Glimmer. She had the
wings of an angel and could fly.
- Light Hope: The living spirit within the Crystal Castle. One
of the three people on Etheria besides Spirit/Swift Wind who knows Adora's
secret.
- Glimmer: The daughter of Angella. Former leader of the
Rebellion. She has the power to create light.
- Frosta: A woman with the power to create and manipulate ice
forms.
- Peek-a-Blue: A rebel with peacock feathers. The eyes on the
feathers could spy for her.
- Mermista: The mermaid who lives at Crystal Falls and has a
necklace that shoots poison.
- Castaspella: The most powerful sorceress other than
ShadowWeaver. She didn't get a lot of airtime. Still, she lived in
Mystacor.
- Madame Razz: A kindly witch, who's the analogue to Orko
(comedic relief via botched spells). She knows Adora's secret.
- Broom: Madame Razz' talking broom.
- Kowl: A wise animal that's a cross between an owl and a
koala. He was the third person to know Adora's secret.
- Loo-Kee: A colorful little guy who gave the moral of the
story at the end, tho he featured in one story, learning Adora's secret and
saving the day by going to find He-Man.
- Sweet Bee: A woman who resembled a bee.
- Perfuma: A woman who could make flowers grow and knock people
out with her perfume.
- Sweetbee: A guide who can fly.
- Double Trouble: A woman who had a 'good' and a 'bad' face so
she could fool the Horde into believing she was on their side.
- Flutterina: A butterfly-like woman who aided the Rebellion.
- The Twiggets: Comedit elven-types. There were two guys and a
girl: Sprocker, Spritina, and Spragg. They lived in Whispering Woods.
- Netossa: A young woman who threw nets. (Coulda been Horde.
Anyone know for sure?)
- Spinerella: A young woman who spun and wove things. (Also
another possible Hordie.)
- Sea Hawk (?): I /think/ this is his name, but he's the
guy who featured in 2 stories (one a two parter) and is Adora's other
love interest (the one she actually kissed!)
- Enchanta: A swan who was allied with the Rebellion and spent a
lot of time around Crystal Falls.
- Moonbeam: A blue horse who was the night-time guardian of the
Crystal Castle.
- Sun Dancer: A pink horse who was the day-time guardian of the
Crystal Castle.
- Sea Harp: A blue seahorse who ferried the Rebels around.
- Butterflyer: A pink butterfly-woman who could fly the others
around.
The Bad Guys (and Girls)
- Hordak: Leader of the Evil Horde outpost on Etheria. Had a
disgusting phlegm problem. He can convert his body into a number of
different objects (arm into a gun, legs into a rocket, etc.). Brave when
he's beating up on helpless peasants. Sucks up to the Horde Leader bigtime.
- ShadowWeaver: Hordak's advisor and true power within the
Horde. She is a sorceress and casts spells against the Rebellion and
kept Adora under a spell for most of her life.
- Imp: Hordak's 'pet', he essentially was a blue pig with
wings. He liked to snitch on everyone else and get them in trouble.
- Catra: A minor sorceress. She has the ability to transform
herself into a cat, and has control over all cats. She also uses mrow's
in her speech sometimes. She owned a horse named Storm and a pink cat
named Clawdeen.
- Mantenna: The guy with the eyes that pop out. Hordak's primary
male leader, and a pretty darned bad one at that. Sucks up to Hordak bigtime.
- Grizzlor: Mantenna's second, and a musclebound oaf at that.
- Horde Prime: The ultimate leader of the Evil Horde (and you
thought Hordak led it... NOT!), stationed on Hordeworld.
- Scorpia: The scorpion-like warrior woman. She had a terrible
vocal problem.
- Leech: This guy had a sucker for a mouth and hands. He was
the eye-guy's main crony. He generally screwed up a lot and sucked up to
Hordak too.
- Modulok: A two-headed crony that could explode and reform his
body.
- Multi-bot: A robotic version of Modulok.
- Entrapta: She was like the show's version of Doctor Octopus
from the Spiderman comics. There was another one like her in the show
called Octavia.
Etherian List of Places
- Crystal Castle: The Etherian equivalent of Castle Grayskull.
Perched atop the cloud-covered peak of Skydancer Mountain, it is the home of
Light Hope and She-Ra's haven.
- The Fright Zone: The primary base of the Evil Horde, it is
where Hordak rules with an iron fist with his cronies.
- Whispering Woods: The home of the Rebellion. Protected by
good magic, the Horde has problems getting in there and defeating the
rebels. The trees can move around to disorient villains.
- Beast Island: The Horde's prison island, and also their R&D
place.
- Bright Moon: Angella's kingdom, the first freed from the
Horde by She-Ra and He-Man.
- Mystacor: Castaspella's home, as well as home to her
apprentice.
- Crystal Falls: Home of Mermista, one of the loveliest places
on Etheria.
